About You

Many of the people I work with are navigating high-pressure environments shaped by high expectations, competition, and ongoing uncertainty. This includes professionals in the entertainment industry, as well as creatives and high-achieving individuals whose work requires them to show up, navigate pressure and competition, and stay true to themselves within an ever-changing industry.

From my own background in the entertainment industry, I understand the unique emotional demands that come with this world — the instability, the highs and lows, the internal pressure to keep going, and the quiet toll it can take on your nervous system and sense of self. Even when things look “fine” from the outside, it can feel overwhelming, lonely, or exhausting on the inside.

For many people in this field, work can be inconsistent and unpredictable. Periods of intense focus and momentum are often followed by stretches of waiting, uncertainty, or self-doubt. When your work is closely tied to who you are, these gaps can bring up questions about worth, direction, and stability — especially in an industry where external validation, rejection, and comparison are constant.

While these dynamics are especially common in the entertainment industry, they’re not limited to it. Many people experience similar pressures and uncertainty in relationships, life circumstances, the responsibilities they carry, and the everyday demands of life.

Many clients I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply committed to their work and relationships, yet find themselves struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection. Therapy becomes a place to pause, feel supported, and reconnect — not because something is broken, but because life has been demanding and you don’t have to carry it alone.

Who Do I Often Work With?

While I work with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, I have particular experience working with:

  • Creatives and Entertainment Industry Professionals, including actors, singers, musicians, writers, directors, producers, casting professionals, and talent representatives

  • Men navigating emotional well-being, relationships, identity, and performance-related stress

  • Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Individuals navigating relationships, life experiences, and challenges

  • Yoga Teachers, Fitness & Wellness Professionals, and those in helping roles, who often support others while needing space themselves

  • Couples seeking deeper connection, improved communication, or support navigating relational challenges, including those navigating ethical non-monogamy

My work with creatives and entertainment professionals is informed not only by clinical training, but by personal experience across multiple roles within the industry. Having worked on both the creative and business sides, I understand the pressures, dynamics, and emotional realities of this field from multiple angles.

  • Feeling overwhelmed or worn down by ongoing demands and responsibilities

  • Anxiety, worry, or a constant sense of pressure that’s difficult to turn off

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, unsure what you need, or out of touch with what feels grounding

  • Difficulty slowing down, resting, or feeling present — even during downtime

Issues We May Address

  • Being overly self-critical, hard on yourself, or struggling with confidence and self-trust

  • Feeling stuck, uncertain, or unsure how to move forward in a way that feels aligned with your identify and values

  • Feeling disconnected from a partner, drifting apart, or struggling to communicate openly and honestly

  • Recurring tension, distance, or patterns in relationships that feel familiar but hard to change

  • Navigating change, loss, or transitions — even when they’re expected, chosen, or long anticipated

  • Feeling lonely, misunderstood, or having difficulty feeling close to others

  • Feeling caught between caring for others and not having enough space for yourself

  • Wanting to feel more connected, grounded, and at ease in your life and relationships

While some of these challenges are especially common in high-pressure or creative fields, they can show up across many areas of life and in different circumstances.

If this feels familiar to you, therapy can offer a supportive space to explore what you’re navigating, without having to do it all by yourself. Together, we can begin to find a way forward that makes more sense for you.
